Important Notice When Purchasing "A", "B", "C" Category Firearms and Parts
A firearms licence is required to purchase firearms, firearms parts, and ammunition. If you wish to purchase “A” category firearms, please download the Police Mail Order Firearm Form below. The completed form, signed or stamped by NZ Police, needs to be provided to PYD Arms before we will ship any “A” category firearm.
To purchase restricted firearm part(s), you must first have the appropriate endorsement on your firearms licence, and in some cases you must obtain a Permit to Procure from your local area Arms Officer. No restricted firearm part(s) will be shipped until we have been supplied with the appropriate paperwork as/if required.

Note: a completed NZ Police “Permit to Procure” (POL 67C) is required for all handgun and restricted purchases. We must have all three copies (Original, Applicant, and Seller) prior to shipping. Description
Developed in Czechoslovakia during the Cold War, the Skorpion was designed as a compact personal-defense weapon for special forces, vehicle crews, and support personnel. Officially adopted in 1961, giving rise to its VZ 61 designation, the Skorpion became one of the most recognizable small arms of the era and saw service across numerous countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Its distinctive name reflects its compact dimensions and formidable reputation. The VZ 61 is chambered in .32 ACP (7.65×17mm Browning SR) and feeds from a compact 10 or 20-round magazine, combining an unusually small profile with a relatively high ammunition capacity.
